Biography
Leonard Cohen (1934–2016) was a Canadian singer-songwriter, poet and writer regarded as one of the most influential artists of the 20th and 21st centuries. He began his career as a poet and novelist in the 1950s and 1960s, but later turned to music to reach a wider audience with his work. In 1967 his debut album Songs of Leonard Cohen appeared, featuring classics such as Suzanne and So Long, Marianne .
