I've never played guitar before — are these lessons suitable for me?+
Absolutely. We start right at the very beginning: proper posture, guitar parts, tuning, how to hold a pick, and your first chords. No prior knowledge needed.
I don't have a guitar yet — which one should I buy?+
Most beginners start with a classical (Spanish) guitar with nylon strings — gentle on your fingers and affordable. Our lesson path and books explain what to look for when buying.
How long before I can play my first song?+
With 15 to 30 minutes of practice daily, you'll often play your first song within a few weeks. Consistency matters more than long sessions.
Does Gitaartabs work for electric guitar or only acoustic?+
Both. The chords, tabs, and lessons work on acoustic and electric guitar alike. Many lessons deliberately cover both.
