Biografie
Jeanette MacDonald was an American singer and actress from the golden age of the American film musical. She made her name in the 1930s and 1940s with her distinctive soprano voice and elegant presence. MacDonald regularly collaborated with tenor Nelson Eddy and became particularly known for her roles in major MGM film productions, where she performed classical operettas and songs for millions of viewers.
