Biography
Guns N' Roses is an American hard rock band formed in 1985 in Los Angeles. The classic lineup consists of vocalist Axl Rose, lead guitarist Slash, rhythm guitarist Izzy Stradlin, bassist Duff McKagan and drummer Steven Adler. With their debut album Appetite for Destruction (1987), the band achieved worldwide breakthrough, driven by hits such as Welcome to the Jungle , Paradise City and Sweet Child O' Mine . The album is considered one of the best-selling rock albums of all time. Guns N' Roses became famous for their raw sound, rebellious image and energetic live shows. In the 1990s came epic songs such as November Rain and Don't Cry , in which the band showed a more melodic and orchestral side. After internal conflicts and lineup changes, the group experienced an uneven trajectory, but the reunion tour with Axl, Slash and Duff in 2016 made Guns N' Roses one of the world's greatest live acts once again.
