Biography
Tabitha Foen-A-Foe is a Dutch singer and voice actress. In 2019, with 300 million streams, she was the most streamed female artist in the Netherlands. She scored hits with the songs 'Hij Is Van Mij', 'Het Spijt Me Niet' and 'Moment'. Tabitha is one of the participants in the thirteenth season of 'Beste Zangers'.
About the music
In 2017 Tabitha established the foundation 'Mooi Zoals Je Bent'. The foundation aims to give children more self-confidence.
Youth
Tabitha grew up in a small village where few people of colour lived. Tabitha tells in an interview with Vice.com that she was sometimes insulted. Her brother and sister faced even more of it, she says. The day after Tabitha's ninth birthday, her father died, which had a major impact on the rest of her life.
Tabitha studied for two years at the Pop Academie in Rotterdam. Driven by the urge to make music, she left for the United States after the Pop Academie. "... but it was especially a very personal journey. That made me the woman I am today, and it also meant that I make the music I make now." (Tabitha, Vice.com) Tabitha decided to return to the Netherlands on her own.

'Dit Is Over' is a song by Ronnie Flex and Tabitha. The song came out in 2017. During a visit to the Netherlands, Tabitha made this song together with Ronnie for his album 'Remi'. According to Parra.nu, the single became a hit and was the decisive factor for Tabitha to return to the Netherlands.

'Hij Is Van Mij' is a song by Kris Kross Amsterdam, Maan & Tabitha ft Bizzey. The song came out in 2018. The song is about two women who are in love with the same man. The song became an enormous hit in the Netherlands. It reached number 1 in the 'Nederlandse Top 40', the 'Single Top 100', and the 'Mega Top 50'.
