Biography
Lars Bos, better known by the name Snelle, is a Dutch rapper and singer. Snelle was born on 3 October 1995 and is the son of former footballer Jan Bos. Snelle was born with cleft palate. This is a congenital facial defect characterized by a cleft or groove in your upper lip; also known as a hare lip. Because of this defect, Snelle was often bullied as a child. In the song Reünie, Snelle sings about this bullying behaviour.
About the music
Youth
The now 24-year-old Snelle grew up in the Gelderland village of Gorssel, but now lives in Deventer, his official birthplace. Snelle's career also began in Deventer, where he recorded his first tracks with an old PC and a PlayStation microphone. Driven by his passion for music, he studied at the Herman Brood Academy in Utrecht. In 2017, Snelle signed a contract with the label of rapper "JeBroer". He released his EP "Lieve Jongens" here with the track "Oost-Indisch doof". This track was well received by many music lovers. Radio 538 put Snelle on the list of artists to watch in 2019. By now, he is a successful singer and rapper with multiple hits to his name!

Scars
The track "Scars" is one of the twelve tracks on Snelle's EP "Beetje Bij Beetje". The EP originally had 8 tracks but Snelle later added four more. "Scars" performs so well that Snelle earns both a gold and platinum record with it.
Reünie
Snelle released the track Reünie in summer 2019. The track is very personal and is about bullying. The track reached number one in the Dutch Top 40. With this, he has his first number one hit!
Lippenstift
In late summer 2019, Snelle releases the track "Lippenstift" together with Marco Borsato and John Ewbank. The track reached second place in the Single Top 100 list and has more than 40 million streams!
