Biografie
Toto is an American rock band formed in 1978, specializing in yacht rock and soft rock. The group grew into one of the most influential bands of the eighties, with a line-up of top musicians: Bobby Kimball on vocals, Steve Lukather and Tony Spinner on guitar, David Paich on keyboard and Mike Porcaro on bass, complemented by Greg Phillinganes on keyboard. Their 1979 debut album marked the beginning of a long career in which Toto distinguished itself through refined arrangements and skilled musicianship.
The band released an impressive series of albums, from Hydra and Turn Back to the acclaimed Toto IV, which contained tracks such as Rosanna and Africa. Toto's guitar work and vocal harmonies made their songs ideal to play yourself — you will find various tracks on Gitaartabs where you can learn the band's characteristic riffs and chords.
