Biography
Ali B (Ali Bouali, 1981) is one of the best-known Dutch rappers, television personalities and entrepreneurs. He began his career in the early 2000s and grew into a pioneer within the Dutch hip hop scene. Known for collaborations with, among others, Marco Borsato, Yes-R and Partysquad, he introduced rap music to a broader audience. Nielson (Niels Littooij, 1989) broke through in 2012 via De Beste Singer-Songwriter van Nederland and scored hits such as Beauty & de Brains and Hoe . He is known for his accessible Dutch-language pop songs with a positive and fresh appeal. Their collaboration combined the urban background of Ali B with the melodic pop style of Nielson, reaching a broad audience.
