Biografie
Lordi is a heavy metal band from Finland. Lordi consists of 4 men and a woman. They became known with the song Hard Rock Hallelujah, which they performed at the Eurovision Song Contest around 2006 and won first place. Lordi is also known for its costumes. Many people therefore compare Lordi with Gwar, another rock band. Mr. Lordi started Lordi back in 1992. He created a demo "Napalm Market" at that time.

De bandleden ontmoetten elkaar voor het eerst in Zweden.
In 1996 begon Lordi dan echt, al bestond de band toen maar uit 3 leden: Mr. Lordi, Mr. Amen, Mr. G - Stealer. Het jaar daarna in 1997 kwam Ms. Enary erbij. Samen namen ze hun eerste album op in 1999. "Bend over and pray the lord" kwam echter nooit uit. In 2005 had Lordi, als onderdeel van hun "European Monstour", een succesvol optreden in de Melkweg (Amsterdam). In 2006 gaf Lordi, als onderdeel van hun "Bringing Back The Balls To Europe"-tour, opnieuw een optreden in de Melkweg en traden ze op in het Hof Ter Lo (Borgerhout bij Antwerpen). Op 2 juni traden ze weer op in België in Roeselare. Lordi heeft verder getoerd met onder andere Hammerfall en Nightwish.
