Rise Against is an American band at home in punk and hardcore punk. With their powerful, politically charged messages, they have reached a broad audience of listeners. In 2000 tekende de band een contract bij Fat Wreck Chords. Hier hebben ze 2 albums opgenomen Later werd de naam van de band veranderd in Rise Against. Later kwam Rise Against onder contract bij Dreamwork Records. Dreamwork Records is nu een onderdeel van Universal Music group.
