Op Gitaartabs leer je de akkoorden en tab van "single handed sailor" van Dire Straits, een popklassieke uit 1979. Dit nummer uit het album Communiqué biedt je een goed inzicht in de gitaarspeelstijl van de band, met een toegankelijke opbouw die perfect aansluit bij je huidige niveau.
Dit is beginnerswerk: niveau 3 betekent dat je met relatief eenvoudige akkoordengrepen uit de voeten komt. Je werkt hier met Dm, C, Bb, F, G en Gm, akkoorden die je stap voor stap onder de vingers krijgt. De tab-notatie laat je precies zien welke snaren je aanslaat. Pak je gitaar en speel mee.

B is een barré-akkoord. Leg je wijsvinger plat over alle snaren en druk stevig; oefen 'm los tot elke snaar helder klinkt voordat je 'm in het nummer gebruikt.

Speel elk akkoord 4 tellen, dan 2, dan 1 — met de metronoom op 60-70 bpm. Voer het tempo pas op als de wissel schoon en op tijd is.

Focus op zuivere akkoorden — laat elke snaar klinken. Snelheid komt vanzelf als de grepen goed zitten.
